How do you teach adventure sports?

We teach every kid how fun and empowering being active outdoors can be.

How We Teach Biking

Our biking camps run the gamut—we start with teaching new riders, pre-K – 1st grade, to balance and pedal, instruct new mountain bikers on skills on local dirt trails, help experienced mountain bikers advance their technical skills, and even offer freeriding and expedition mountain biking camps.  Biking is an amazing sport that provides independence, increases confidence, and delivers incredible joy at all ability levels. Learn about our approach to teaching biking.

How We Teach Paddling

If you’ve never seen our teaching in action and wonder if adventure sports are right for you or your camper, our instructors create a welcoming environment that supports campers at all skill levels, including those who fear water to those who dive right in.  Adventure sports have an incredible power to help us all learn what we are capable of, not to mention the joy they can bring to our lives! Learn more about how we teach paddling.

How We Teach Rock Climbing

Parents often have the most questions about climbing–“My child has never done it before, will it be ok?” “Is it safe?” “My kid climbs all the time, will he or she be challenged?”  Regardless their level, kids learn a ton about themselves from climbing.  Even the smallest progress can feel like a mountain of accomplishment, which stays with a camper long after the climbing day is over.
