      Valmont Bike Park Day Camp

      Camp Schedule

      9:00 AM to 3:00 PM*

      *We offer Early Drop-off and Aftercare for an additional cost. Check out the Extended Care information below

      Camp Group Assignments

      You can check your camper's group assignment on your Active Account 10 days prior to camp. 

      Camp group assignments will be emailed to families 10 days before the camp starts. We will do our best to accommodate all mutual friend requests.

      Initial Group assignments will be made based on age. On Monday, we will evaluate the skill of each kiddo in a group and make any necessary changes for the remainder of the week. 

      Please note: If you register within the 14-days before the camp start date, we cannot guarantee friend requests. Thank you for your understanding.  

      Where to Meet Your Instructor

      Follow Avid4 Adventure Flags to the main meeting area and meet your instructors at their group sign.

      Valmont Gear

      • Valmont Bike Park Packing List*
        • *At Valmont Bike Park we require riding gloves, elbow pads, knee pads, a bike, and a helmet. We do not rent any soft gear (Knee and Elbow Pads and Gloves) but this gear can be purchased HERE.
      • Bikes are available to rent for $50 for the week through the registration process or in your Active Account. 
      • PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to store personal bikes overnight at Valmont Bike Park. 

      Camp Forms

      Required forms for all campers:

      • Immunization Form (must be on an Official State of Colorado form, dated and signed by your doctor within the past two years.)
        • We also accept official forms from the following states: Alabama, Arizona, California, the District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Montana, North Dakota, Oregon, Pennsylvania,
          South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington

      Required Forms if your camper will bring an Inhaler or Epi-Pen to camp or will be taking any OTC or Prescription medication while at camp:

      • Inhaler Form
      • Epi-Pen Form
      • Medication Form

      All forms can be found HERE. Please sign in to your Active Account to submit your child's forms.

      Extended Care Info

      • Early Drop Off: 8:00 - 8:45 AM
      • Aftercare Program: 3:15 - 5:30 PM 
      IMPORTANT NOTES:
      At Valmont Bike Park, the Aftercare Group will return back to the pick up/drop off location at 4:30 & 5:15 each afternoon unless the Aftercare Supervisor is specifically told to return back at a specific time for an earlier pick up. Additionally, there will be a whiteboard with the Aftercare Supervisor's number at site that families can ring if they arrive early. 

      If your camper is signed up for Aftercare, please pack an extra late afternoon snack for your child. Aftercare will begin with a short snack time around 3:30pm to help campers be well fed and happy through the end of the day.
