What happens if a camper becomes ill or is injured?

Injuries and illness at camp happen, but with a Registered Nurse on-site and all instructors certified in CPR & First Aid or more, you can rest assured your campers are in good hands.

We have the luxury of having a full-service clinic with a Registered Nurse at our camps.  If an illness or injury occurs, our camp staff or the camp nurse will provide any minor medical treatments directly on-site.

For any emergency or major medical treatment, there is a larger medical facility in Conifer and Evergreen (a 30-minute drive from the camps) where we can get care for any situation.

With the COVID-19 virus, our approach to illness will be a bit different this summer.  If a child becomes ill, we will isolate the camper and contact their parents to inform them of what is happening and decide on the best course of action going forward.   In the rare event that a camper has to stay overnight in our health clinic, we will always notify their parents.
