Campers normally eat in the dining hall (indoors or outdoors) when they’re on-site at camp, or in the great outdoors when they’re out on full day programs, overnights, and backpacking trips.
We found eating outside got great reviews and we'll take the extra space when we can! We will happily use the dining halls with inclement weather or for meals where we really want to bring the spirit. The best of both worlds!
Mealtimes are more than just a chance to fill up—they’re a time for the entire camp to eat with their cabin groups, reflect on the days, listen to announcements, and sing songs! They’re social events that happen three times a day, and we like to make it fun for all.
