      2024 Drop-Off & Pick-Up Location

      Oakland Camp Schedule

      Camp Hours: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

      1-week Camps (M-F):

      California camp days have been extended in 2024. Please arrive promptly at the camp start time, ready for Adventure!*

      *We offer Early Drop-off and Aftercare for an additional cost. Check out the Extended Care information below

      • Half-Day Camps: AM or PM 
      Location Note: Follow the parking lot road around the back of the museum to the green cones in the back lot. AVID signage and instructors will meet you there. 

      Learn to Bike (PreK-1st Grade)

      AM Session: 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM

      PM Session: 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM 

      • Full-Day Multi-Sport Camps: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

      Location  Note: Groups will be gathered behind the colored bollards at the museum entrance turn-around area. Instructors and AVID signage will meet you there.

      Where are my campers going?

      The week's locations will be available during the camp week and will be posted every day at your camper's group. Additionally, you can reference our 'Where is my camper?' binder at our front-of-camp table any day of the week. 

      Why not tell me now?

      We permit with many land managers throughout the region and while things are finalizing for the camp season, we make small adjustments throughout the summer to account for environmental changes, trail closures, or land manager cancellations. We want to give you information that is accurate for your camper and that's best presented at camp. If you have questions about recreation areas frequently used with this location, please call Customer Support at 720-249-2412. 

      Camp Group Assignments

      You can check your camper's group assignment on your Active Account 10 days prior to camp. 

      Camp group assignments will be emailed to families 10 days before the camp starts. We will do our best to accommodate all mutual friend requests.

      Please note: If you register within 14 days before the camp start date, we cannot guarantee friend requests. Thank you for your understanding.  

      Where to Meet Your Instructor

      Follow Avid4 Adventure Flags to the main meeting area and meet your instructors at their group sign.

      Required Forms if your camper will bring an Inhaler or Epi-Pen to camp or will be taking any OTC or Prescription medication while at camp:

      • Inhaler Form
      • Epi-Pen Form
      • Medication Form

      Medication forms can be found HERE. Please sign in to your Active Account to submit your child's forms. 

      Extended Care Info

      • Early Drop Off: 8:00 - 8:30 AM
      • Aftercare Program: 3:30 - 6:00 PM (Campers may be picked up at any time during this program)

      If your camper is signed up for Aftercare, please pack an extra late afternoon snack for your child. Aftercare will begin with a short snack time to help campers be well fed and happy through the end of the day.
